Spell Check
NOTE: this article applies to the SiteOrganic Web Editor.
To spell-check your content for a page, click the spell check button () in the page editor toolbar. When you do, the system checks each word in the file. If the spell check finds a word in none of the dictionaries, it displays the Spelling dialog box.
The Spelling dialog box displays
- the word not in the dictionary (in the Not in Dictionary field).
- suggested spellings for the word (in the Suggestions field). The most likely replacement is selected at the top of the list.
- buttons that let you ignore the word, change the word, or exit.

Check Spelling for Selected Text
To check the spelling for a single word or a group of words in the Page Editor, follow these steps.
- Select the text that you want to spell check.
- Press the manual spell check button ().
- The spell checker reviews the words in the selected text and stops at any word not in the dictionary.
- When the spell checker finishes reviewing the words in the selected text, it displays the following message: “Finished checking selection. Do you want to check the rest of the document?” Click "Yes" to spell check the rest of the document (including text above the selected text). Click "No" to stop the spell checker.
