Inserting an Image
NOTE: this article applies to the SiteOrganic Web Editor.
To insert a picture into the text area of a page, place the cursor where you want the image to appear and click the File Manager button (). When you click the button, the File Manager window will appear. (Please make sure you have pop-ups enabled, as the window will appear in a new window.) Once you have located your image in the File Manager, select the "use this file" button at the top right. The File Manager window will then close, and you will see the added into the body section of your page editor.
Once the picture has been added, you are welcome to drag the corners to make the image smaller, but DO NOT drag it any larger. This will make your image look pixelated or fuzzy if you try to make it larger after it's already been added to the page.
To make modifications to your image (such as wrapping the text), follow these steps.
2. Right click the mouse.
3. Click the first Properties option from the menu.
You can use the Picture Properties dialog box to:
- adjust the picture’s width, height, border thickness, and alignment
- reset the image’s properties width, height, border thickness, and alignment to their original specifications
- set spacing between the picture and surrounding information on the page
- enter or edit the picture’s title
To wrap the text around your image:
- Adjust the image alignment to either left or right justified.
- Add margin to the top, bottom, right, and left sides of the image. This will add a white border around your image so the text isn't right against it. You can increase or decrease the number on each side, depending if you want to add more or less space between the image and text.
