Securing a Page
By default, any page you create will be visible to the general public. The Security Panel (in the Page Editor area) will automatically default to the first option: Everyone can view the page. However, you may wish to restrict a given page to only workers in your group, senior workers, or staff (see User Roles for a breakdown of user descriptions). In this case, the second option in the Security Panel allows you to restrict that page to be viewable to only certain user role and above. All page editors (Contributors, Approvers, and Managers) may change the viewing security for a page. As long as a page has security in effect, it will not be accessible to users until they log in with sufficient authority to meet your settings.
You can also restrict access to members of a Private Subgroup, which is the third option in the Security Panel. This allows you to define a custom list of people who should have access to a page or form. If you ONLY want people in a subgroup to have access to a page/form, then be sure to choose this option in the Security Panel and then choose your subgroup(s).
