Inserting HTML
NOTE: this article applies to the SiteOrganic Web Editor.
If you want to insert HTML code into your Web page (in WYSIWYG mode), follow these steps. Be sure that you have copied HTML code from to your clipboard, and then:
- Place the cursor at the spot on the page where you want to insert the HTML.
- Right click the mouse.
- Click Paste as HTML from the menu.
You do not need to know HTML (hypertext markup language) in order to edit your pages; however, if you know HTML, you can view, insert, or edit your web page's HTML code. To view the HTML for a page, follow these steps:
- Click the HTML button () at the bottom left of the page editor.
- The HTML code appears. While viewing the code, you can type or paste your HTML code directly into the editor. Use
+> to copy and + to paste (standard Windows keyboard shortcuts). To select all content, press +. - To return to normal view, click the Design view button ().
