About Hyperlinks
- Open another page in a new window (or "popup")
- Open a new, blank email message so you can send a message to someone
- Open a document or media file, such as a PDF, audio, or video file
- Perform other actions
Each link has two basic elements:
- Label/text: what does the link actually say (or look like)?
- Target URL: where does the link actually go?
In the following example:
Click here to go to SiteOrganic
The label is "Click here to go to SiteOrganic" and the target URL is "http://www.siteorganic.com". You don't see the target URL, but if you click on the label, you will be taken to that location.
