Find and Replace: Launches the Search and Replace dialog box. The dialog searches for (and lets you optionally replace) text that you specify.

Cut: Remove selected text and graphics. Place that data into temporary memory, also known as the “clipboard.” (If you later cut or copy more information onto the clipboard, the new information overwrites the original information.) |
Copy: Copy selected text and graphics into temporary memory. Leave selected data where it is. (If you later cut or copy more information into memory, the original information is lost.)

Paste: Insert the most recently cut or copied text and graphics at the current cursor location.

Paste from Word: Use when pasting in content from a Microsoft Word document. This option will strip the text of any extra styling, and format it to the default font/size of your site. |
Paste Plain Text: Use this option when pasting content from a third-party. This option will strip the text of any extra styling, and format it to the default font/size of your site.

Paste as HTML: Use this option to paste in HTML code. |
Bold: Apply the designated formatting to the text.

Italic: Apply the designated formatting to the text.
|
Underline: Apply the designated formatting to the text.
|
Strikethrough: Add a line through selected text. |
Foreground Color: Change the font color.
|
Background Color: Change the background color of the text. NOTE: to remove a background color from text, click the Normal button.
|
Format Stripper: Strips selected text of any formatting.

Picture: Insert a picture. Clicking this button will launch the File Browser, where you can select the image to be used. See Inserting an Image. |
Edit Hyperlink: Create a hyperlink for selected text/graphic. |
Remove Hyperlink: Remove the hyperlink from the selected text/graphics. |
Undo: Reverse the most recent action, as if it never occurred. You can undo as many actions as you wish. |
Redo: Reverse the undo action. |
Left/Center/Right/Full Justify: Align paragraph so that it is arranged either evenly on the right, left, center, or both on left and right sides. |
Indent: Increase the current line’s distance from the left margin. |
Outdent: Decrease the current line’s distance from the left margin. |
Numbered List: Begin the line on which the cursor rests with a number. If the line above this line is not numbered, then assign this line the number 1. Otherwise, it will be numbered after the previous line. |
Bulleted List: Begin the line on which the cursor rests (or all selected lines) with a bullet. |
Covert to Lower Case: Change selected text to lower case. |
Covert to Upper Case: Change selected text to upper case. |
Font Family: Change the font style. NOTE: there are only a small number of fonts that will work reliably on the web, so this dropdown will only list available web-safe fonts.

Font Size: Change the font size.

Paragraph Style: This dropdown will display a list of styles available to your group. You can select from this list of styles to automatically format the selected text. Styles are like “shortcuts” that save you time in applying the same formats over and over, and can be used for various text headings throughout your page to help the entire website look more consistent.
NOTE: to remove all formatting from the selected text, select the Normal option in the dropdown. |
