Spotlight
Spotlight items consists of the following:
- Name/Title
- Image
- Descriptive text/blurb
- Link/URL
The spotlights are usually already created on your site to serve as examples.
To Add/Manage Your Spotlight Items
1. From the admin Console, choose Site Administration > Spotlight.
NOTE: If you do not see the Site Administration menu, then you are not an administrator. Please contact your site administrator to have your user account adjusted.
NOTE: If you see the Site Administration menu but not the Spotlight option, then your site does not use this feature.
2. Select a Spotlight to edit or click the "Add a New Spotlight" button at the top of the page.
3. Title: This is a required field as noted by the red tag. A short, attention grapping, title is recommended.
4. Sort Order: Puts you in control of the order the spotlight shows. The order is designated by the number placed here. For example, typing a 1 will make this spotlight show first.
5. Text: Enter a short description. It will show under the image and title and lets the reader know what the spotlight is about but shouldn't contain a great amouont of details.
7. End Date: Enter the last date on which the spotlight item should appear.
8. URL: Enables the viewer to link to a different page for more information. Click on the underlined orange Choose to open the Link Manager.

9. Image: Refer to your images sizes guide for the correct image size for your spotlight.
10: Published? This must be checked for your spotlight to be active and show on your site. If the item is not published, then it will not appear on your Web page regardless of the Start and End Dates.
11: Click the "Save" button to submit your changes.
- Displays the Spotlights page where you can view the Title and Image, Start/End dates and confirm it is published.
Your spotlight is now displayed on your Website.
