Friendly URLs
Creating a new Friendly URL
Each Friendly URL has two components:- Friendly URL: This is typically very short, such as "sports", "prayer", or "christmas-concert". The Friendly URL may only contain letters, numbers, hyphens or forward slash "/" characters. No other characters are permitted.
- Target Page: This is the URL of the page you wish you target. Be sure to enter the relative path to the page, that is, everything that appears after the ".com" or ".org" in your domain name.
An example of a correct Target Page entry: /pages/page.asp?page_id=12345
An example of an incorrect Target Page entry: 12345
An example of an incorrect Target Page entry: http://www.mysite.org/pages/page.asp?page_id=12345
Please also remember that you cannot have duplicate Friendly URLs on the same site. Each one must be unique.
