You can have multiple postcards running on the site simultaneously. Your visitors will be able to choose their desired "theme" before sending the message.
Creating an ePostcard
To set up ePostcards on your Website, you must be an Administrator. From the Admin Console, do the following:- Choose Site Administration > ePostcards.
- Click the "Add a new Postcard" button to create a new Postcard, or click the name of an existing postcard to edit it.
- Complete the fields as follows:
- Postcard Name: This will be shown as the name of the "theme", and will also appear as a header in the Emails that are sent to each recipient.
- System Message: This text will appear on every Email sent with this theme. You may enter a message as long as you would like. We recommend that you keep this message as plain text, although simple HTML formatting (bold, italics, break tags, etc.) should be OK. Test your Email first before rolling it out publicly.
- Start Date: Select the first date this theme should be available on the Website.
- End Date: Select the last date this theme should be available on the Website.
- Publish: This box must be checked in order for the postcard/theme to be visible on the Website.
- Image: If desired, you may also include a JPG file for your theme. This file must be uploaded to the Website first (see Uploading Files). NOTE: We recommend using an image no wider than 450px.
- Click the "Update" button to save your information.
Displaying EPostcards On A Web Page
Once you have created postcards in the admin console (see above), you can include those postcards/themes on any page of your site. To do so:- Add or edit a page on your site, using the Page Editor.
- Within the body section of your page, enter one of the following tags:
- Click "Save" to store your changes.
You can now view your postcard themes on the page.
