Step 3. Setting Up Your Email Alerts
Click the plus sign next to the Small Groups item, and you will see three notifications listed. We will have preset content entered for each email, but you are welcome to change this by selecting each item. Click on each item below to see a sample email alert.
NOTE: All 3 emails will be sent from the primary administrator's email address, which is specified in the small group setup area.
Administrator: this notification is sent to the small groups administrator when a groups registration is completed. The administrator is specified under events & store > small groups > select group where small group pages are located (ie: Small Groups).
Leader: When a registration is submitted, the leader(s) specified for that group will receive an email alert with the registrant details.
Registrant: The user signing up for a group will receive an email notification that their registration has been received.
Replacement Values
Below are a list of values you can enter in the subject line and body section of the email alert that will customize the information in the email for the specific registrant and the group they signed up for, such as their name, leader's name, group time, etc.[[SmallGroupMember.Name]] - displays the registrant's name
[[SmallGroupMember.Email]] - displays the registrant's email address
[[SmallGroupMember.Phone]] - displays the registrant's phone number
[[SmallGroup.LeaderName]] - displays the small group leader's name
[[SmallGroup.Name]] - displays the small group name
[[SmallGroup.Description]] - displays the small group description
[[SmallGroup.Time]] - displays the small group time
