Displaying a Form on your Website
There are two ways to add your form to a page:
- Using the "build a form page" tab, which is the last tab in the form setup area. This is only used when creating a new form, and the system will automatically place your form on a new page within your group. You need to choose a page layout and then click the "Save Form and Create a New Form Page" button. NOTE: your new page will not automatically appear active. You will need to check the page as active in your page list (edit site > edit pages > select group).
- As a second option, if you are editing a form or want to place the form on an existing page, you can use the Tag Syntax. On the forms screen, identify the form you wish to use, and to the right of its name, find the "Tag Syntax" column and copy/note the contents. It will look something like this:
You are now ready to place the form on a page. Go to edit or add any page via the SiteOrganic Page Editor, switch to the HTML view and paste the tag into the body area. Then save your page. The form will now appear when you preview the page in a Web browser.
