    Subscribing to a Podcast

    Before subscribing to your Podcast, each user will need to have a Podcast Reader Program, often called a “Podcatcher.” Common podcatcher programs include:

    NOTE: The most popular podcatcher is Apple iTunes. We will base our instruction on this particular program. For instructions on how to subscribe using another podcatchers, please refer to the support for that particular product.

    To subscribe to a podcast in iTunes, follow these steps.

    1. Select a podcast from the list
    2. Select and copy the URL from the XML page
    3. In iTunes, go to the Advanced menu option and select “Subscribe to a Podcast…”
    4. Paste the URL from the XML file into the dialog box, click the “OK” button
    5. The podcast will appear in the Podcast library.
    6. Double-click the name of the Podcast to hear the latest program. If you use a portable audio player, then programs will automatically be synchronized to your device for portable enjoyment.
