The difference between Podcasting and other media programs on your site is the way Podcasts are delivered. Once a visitor subscribes to your Podcast channel, they will automatically get the newest programs you publish—without making a trip to your Website.

The “on-demand” nature of Podcasting can be compared to digital video recorders (DVRs) such as TiVo. Just as TiVo allows viewers to watch their favorite television program or movie when they want, SiteOrganic Podcasting allows your visitors to hear your programs on their computer, whenever they choose. The user does not have to regularly check to see if a new audio file has been uploaded because the user’s computer automatically downloads the latest files for them.
