The current version of the file uploader tool no longer requires use of the Java applet; however, our latest update does not function properly in older IE versions, such as 8 and 9. If you are using Internet Explorer, please make sure you are running an updated version (the current one or the one prior). If you are not sure what version is on your computer, you can upgrade to the latest version here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/download-ie. Please also make sure that the compatibility mode is turned off..
Alternatively, you are welcome to use Firefox, Chrome, or Safari and the upload process should work in any of those browsers.
If you are still having difficulty uploading your file(s), the issue could be caused by the file name. Click here for more info.

When creating files for the File Manager (or linking to pages), pay careful attention to the file name. An improper file name can cause many types of errors or prevent the file from uploading to your site.
Remember that file names should not have any special characters or spaces (ie: parenthesis, spaces, commas, etc.). The only characters that may be used is the underscore *_* or dash “-”
Proper File Name Examples:
“church_picnic_267.jpg” or "meeting-notes-john.doc"
Improper File Name Examples:
“Our Church’s Picnic – photo 1.2.jpg” or "The Meeting Notes + John's Message.doc"
In general, please avoid using the following when naming your files (images, documents, videos, etc):

To rename a folder you must first click on it. Once the page reloads and the folder is selected or highlighted; click on it a second time. The folder name will appear in an edit window, go ahead and make your changes. Once you have made your changes, either hit the enter button on the keyboard or click somewhere else on the page. This will cause the page to refresh and the folder to be renamed. You should then see a message at the top of the screen detailing the outcome.
