Usually, clicking the iCal link on a calendar page will download a "snapshot" of the events on the screen.  This works well, but it does not give you an ongoing "feed" of events as they are subsequently added to the calendar.

There is a way to make the iCal feed dynamic. The process is a bit different, depending on which client software program you are using. For example in Outlook 2010, you would do the following:

1. View the Agenda calendar (click the "Agenda" tab on your calendar page, if you're not already on it)
2. Right click the iCal icon and choose "Copy Link Address"
3. In Outlook 2010, go to the calendar screen. On the left panel right-click My Calendars, Choose Add Calendar > From Internet.
4. Paste in the address you got in step 2 above.
5. Click OK. You will have a new calendar called "ical", which you can rename to "My Church Calendar" or any other friendly title, if you want.

Again, these are just the instructions for Outlook 2010; if you have a different program then it may vary slightly. Unfortunately it is outside the scope of our service to provide support for desktop applications but hopefully this will give you some starting ideas.
