Creating a Group-Specific Calendar
1. From the Admin Console, chose Calendar > Calendar Events > select the specific group.
2. At the top of this page, click the "Edit Calendar Settings" link, and on the next screen, look for the section titled "Default Calendar Pages." Opening this page for the first time within a group will auto-generate these five default calendar pages, and they will be pre-selected in the dropdown fields. To save these changes, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the screen. Click here to see an overview of these calendar pages.
3. Next, go to edit site > edit pages and copy the 5-digit group ID number for your respective group. Then select your group name in the list and you will see the five auto-generated calendar pages at the bottom of your page list. Open the page titled "Month View/~/Calendar".
4. The group ID number will need to be added to the tag in your page, in order for the calendar to only display events from your desired group. To do this, switch to the HTML view of the page editor, and add the "showGroup=#####" parameter to the tag. The placeholder number signs should be replaced by your 5-digit group ID number, and it will look like the example below:
5. Click "Save and Publish" to make your group calendar available. Note: the other four calendar pages to do not need to be published. Users will view the Month View calendar page on your site, and from there, they can access the other calendar views.
