    Description
    Use this tag to embed a video player on a web page. As opposed to using the soProgramLanding tag inconjunction with the media suite, the soHTML5Video tag allows you to embed a video into any page on your website. This is similar to the way that many public video-sharing sites are designed. The tag will also display the video player in HTML5, for those browsers that accept this platform.

    NOTE: Some SiteOrganic websites created before June 2011 may not have this tag built-in. If you try this and find that it doesn't work as you would expect, it's no problem. Just contact our Care team and we'll set it up for you free of charge (provided that you are on the proper Plan level).

    Required Parameters
    • height (height of player in pixels)
    • movieFile (file path to the MP4 video)
    • poster (file path to the poster image shown before the video)
    • width (width of player in pixels)

    Optional Parameters
    options: include any parameters here that you would like to pass into the video tag, such as "controls", "preload", "autoplay", etc. Separate each one with a space.
