Background: our system experienced a major onslaught of blog comment spam, which caused a data integrity issue in our layout engine. We resolved this issue without the loss of any data or uptime on sites, and all systems are now performing normally. Please note that we take security and stability of your Website very seriously, and over the next 48 hours we will be conducting a full post-mortem to add countermeasures for this type of event. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties that are affecting most, if not all of our sites. The issues appear to be data-related, and are causing a variety of visual and content-related anomalies across several Websites. We apologize for this inconvenience and are working to determine the scope in order to determine an estimated time to repair. We will update you as soon as we have more information.
